Tang Hall Local History Group

The THLHG aims to preserve records of the past and to create a photographic archive available to the whole community. It meets on the third Thursday of every month at 10am (school term times only) in St Aelred's Community Centre, Fifth Avenue (corner of Melrosegate - postcode YO31 0PN). Everybody is most welcome.

Thursday May 21st: "Elmfield College" (John Bibby)

After this meeting, anyone who is interested can join us for a special visit to the Borthwick Archives  (c.12.30), to look at tithe maps for the area near Elmfield College and Monk Stray.
