Haxby Local History Group

The aim of the Haxby Local History Group is to gather historical information and photographs relating to Haxby. To meet monthly in a relaxed atmosphere to further that interest. This will include talks, visits preperation of displays, audio tapes and the production of printed matter. The group was formed on 27th February 2001, originally meeting in the Library until they 'out grew' it!

Historical records are kept in the Haxby Library where the Librarian, Lynda Cox, is always happy to be of assistance.

The Group meets at 10am on the third Thursday of every month at St. Mary's Church Hall. All new members welcome and may make a trial visit to see if they like it before joining.

For further details contact the secretary Ian Mason on 01904 768516.
