Archaeology Group

 

The Hungate Community Trust was formed to respond to and comment on the development taking place at Hungate in central York. An archaeology group was formed that offered voluntary assistance with the excavation between 2005 and 2010. Activity included working on site and working on the archives. Many members of the team now help with other community and York Archaeological Trust projects. To find out more about volunteering contact Jon Kenny.
