The Greater York Community Archaeology Project

The Greater York Community Archaeology Project ran for five years from 2005 until 2010. It was created to help people to get involved in exploring the archaeology and history of where you live. The Community Archaeologist, Dr Jon Kenny was employed by the project and now continues as Community Archaeologist for York Archaeological Trust to assist people to explore their local heritage.

You can contact Jon by phone on 01904 663020 or by email by clicking Jon Kenny here.

The project ran monthly study days. You can see what these covered here.
